When I was very young, I lived next to a library, and my mother would send me every summer to hang out there in the kids section. I was familiar with all the librarians and slowly moved to the more adult side of the library. There I fell in love with authors like Octavia Butler and Walter Mosley; At the same time, I’m not a great writer by any stretch of the imagination; it’s always been a dream in an alternate reality that would be my profession. Over time I learned as a designer the importance of writing, storytelling, and just copywriting in general.
This blog will go unnamed for now. I will explore my passion and ongoing curiosity about the design world and the intricate significance of daily existence. I aim to delve into the links between design and marginalized communities while reflecting on my life journey as I advance in my design career.
